The trip to England!

The trip to England was an unforgettable experience! We returned back home with lots of "luggage" packed with memories of lifetime. We admired the magnificience of the Cathedral and we travelled back in time with the visit at the open museum of Beamish community. The school was great and the teachers were very hospitable. We enjoyed the fact that the students were listening carefully during the presentation and that they asked very clever questions.
                 Thank you England!!!

The October visit to Houghton-le-Spring

The visit to England was really great. Together with English friends we visited the Durham Cathedral, where Harry Potter was filmed . We learnt many interesting facts and then the children had to design a stained glass windows. We also went to the Beamish Museum -the living museum of the North. We could see how life in the North East England changed over 100 years. And of course we visited the school and met teachers and students who asked us lots of questions. Then we went together for a walk in Rainton  Meadows and fed the swans and ducks. It was fantastic.

24-28 September in Dobrzyniewo

Miriam from Tunisia teaching Arabic alphabet

Slavena asking students some interesting questions

Magda Storonowicz is trying hard to communicate

Miriam and class I a and the poster with students names in Arabic
During the week we had 2 university students from Bulgaria and Tunisia in our school who came to Poland as volunteers from ISAC. Slavena and Miriam did the presentations about their countries, culture and cuisine. They taught us the Arabic alphabet and the Cyrilic one. The girls also had English language workshops with some of the classes. The students were really excited and at the same time nervous because they had to speak English (they" were forced to") with someone who doesn't speak Polish. We spent a fantastic time with Miriam and Slavena.
