Trekking at the mountain path to Pythari at Argos
On 19th of November we have started to trekk at the mountain path to Pythari. We have discovered that there where a lot of garbage, there. So we have decided to clean up the place. All these could not happened if my friends haven't give a big effort. Thanks to them that Saturday and the next Sunday we have collected all the garbage and now the path is clean!!! We were also lucky, because on Saturday the 19th we have met a couple of eagles who are living on these mountains and are a very rare species. It's called Spizaetos, in greek, but it's name is Hieraaetus Fasciatus.
On Sunday 27th of November we have gathered again. Now we were 20 pupils and two mothers who came to help us. they did a very good job all of them and now everywhere is clean. Even the small canyon is very beautiful. You can see pnly it's natural colors and not the colors of plastic, iron etc.

Snufkin celebrates Finland´s independence day
On 6th December 1917 Finland got the independence from the Russian Empire. On that day we have public holiday and people don´t work and shops are closed. People get together to enjoy independence day and watch tv about President´s independence-dinner-gala where all the important people are invited.
In our school we had independence celebration last Friday. 6th graders invited all of us to our Gymhall to listen their songs and thoughts of Independent Finland. They gave us reasons why Finland is important to us and why we feel fortunate to live in a such wonderful country. In the end we all sang the Hymn of Finland standing up.

Snufkin Mail
In Finland kids are always waiting for the Christmas desperately, for that waiting we have SNUFKIN MAIL. Each day Snufkin brings mail for us. In mail there´s always something fun to do that day, such as a game, a song, a quiz or a handcraft work to do.
